Freej Exchange, inspired by the Emirati “Freej - neighbourhood” concept, where families can trade pre-loved items while fostering community bonds.
This community-focused event promotes reuse, reduces waste, and brings people together through activities such as:
- Exchange Activity: Participants can swap 2-5 items, taking the same number of items they contribute.
- “Give a Ghaf” Initiative: Participants without items to exchange can join by paying a nominal fee, which includes a token to plant a Ghaf tree that can also be gifted to a loved one.
