Built around three core pillars, Impact, Sustainability and Inspiration, the Award recognises meaningful contributions, creates a lasting legacy for each annual theme, and encourages continued participation in shaping the nation's future. For the Year of Family, it celebrates those whose efforts strengthen family bonds, foster belonging and enrich communities across the UAE.

The Award recognises contributions across five areas:

For Individuals

+ Main Award: Recognising the individual or family that best represents the values of the annual UAE Year Of theme.

+ Collective Contribution: Groups whose collective efforts have created exceptional impact together.

For Organisations

+ Government Champion: Government entities that have advanced the annual theme through tangible initiatives.

+ Private Sector Champion: Private sector organisations that have made meaningful contributions.

+ Civil Sector Champion: Social organisations, foundations or individuals whose work reflects the values of the annual UAE Year Of theme.
